The Nizami Ganjavi Foundation’s goal is to contribute to, and enhance,
a globally positive image of the Republic of Azerbaijan by promoting its culture, in a context of ideas of Nizami Ganjavi, a prominent contributor to the Eastern Renaissance and advocate in his work of universal values, peace and justice; furthermore, active in the fields of culture and science that serve peace, dialogue, mutual understanding and cultural diversity, as well as proposing alternative solutions to global issues.

 

• To introduce the ancient history, rich culture, literature, art and traditions of Azerbaijan, and especially the ancient Azerbaijani city of Ganja, to the world; • To promote exchange of knowledge between prestigious local and international scholars who are engaged in research of the literary and philosophical heritage of Nizami Ganjavi, and those who contribute to new research in the field; • To be an Azerbaijan-based international platform for cooperation between scholars who study Nizami Ganjavi’s legacy;

Nizami Ganjavi Foundation plans to support scientific and cultural projects in cooperation with various regional and international, government and non-government organizations, and to build bridges between different cultures by sharing its findings with the international community through publications and other means.
