This is a collection of five mesnevi (couplet) poems by Nizami Ganjavi (1141-1209), a prominent exponent of the Persian-language school of Azerbaijani literature. The poems are collectively known as the Khamsa (in Arabic – Quintet) or Panj Ganj (in Persian – Five treasures).
